NEW DELHI, Aug. 11 (Xinhua) -- Security at the Indira Gandhi International Airport and the domestic airport here has beefed up following the foiling of a terrorist plot in London to bring down a number of aircraft through mid-air explosions.

Quick reaction commando units are on alert and bomb disposal and dog squads have been pressed into service, sources from Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) that is in charge of security at the airport said.

Anti-hijacking measures have also been put in place, according to Indo-Asian News Service. Enditem
