BEIJING, Aug. 11 (Xinhuanet) -- Suri Cruise, daughter of celebrity couple Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, has attracted the attention of the clamorous U.S. media because she has been kept under wraps by her parents.

    Till now, only a few stars such as Victoria and David Beckham and the couple's immediate family have been allowed to visit the child.

    There are rumors that the baby's birth certificate is a fake and some of the celebrity friends say they didn't have a viewing in the flesh of the baby. Some even claim she doesn't even exist at all.

    In response, the celebrity couple has been forced to issue statements saying photos of their daughter born in April will be released shortly.

    The couple "will be making a decision to release the photographs (of Suri) shortly," Contactmusic quoted Cruise's spokesman Arnold Robinson as saying. And Vanity Fair is reportedly to publish the first photos of the baby. However, there is no confirmation from the prominent parents or the magazine.

    Suri is Katie Holmes's first child, while Tom Cruise has an adopted daughter and son with ex-wife Nicole Kidman. Enditem
