| Tom Cruise (R) and his fiancee Kate Holmes (File Photo) | BEIJING, August 9 (Xinhuanet) -- Tom Cruise has told journalists Wednesday that he will be releasing pictures of baby Suri, who was born four months ago, according to media reports.
Tom was reluctant to show off Suri since his daughter was born in April because Scientology doctrine teaches followers of the sci-fi cult to avoid taking newborn babies out unless absolutely necessary. Only the couple's closest family members and a handful of celebrities have been introduced to Suri.
Photos of other newborn celebrity babies, including Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's baby Shiloh, Gwen Stefani's baby Kingston and Brooke Shields' baby Grier have all graced the covers of major magazines.
Tom's spokesman has denied rumours that the couple feared releasing pictures of Suri could bring the threat of a kidnap plot.
Tom's former girlfriend, Penelope Cruz, recently told reporters that she had been introduced to Suri and declared the little girl to be "one of the most beautiful babies I have ever seen."Enitem
