    BEIJING, July 26 -- "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" has broken the $300m barrier at the US box office quicker than any other movie.

    The sequel, which stars Johnny Depp, Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom, has taken a staggering $321.7m after a mere three weeks on release.

    "Dead Man's Chest" has already earned more at the box-office than its predecessor managed in six months. It remains at the top of the US box office, taking $35m over the weekend.
