ST. PETERSBURG, Russia, July 17 (Xinhua) -- The G8 summit issued a joint
statement on Monday denouncing the July 11 terrorist bombings in India.
The statement was adopted by the G8 leaders, as well as the leaders of
developing countries invited to an outreach session of the G8 summit and other
regional and international organizations.
The statement declared readiness to take all necessary means to bring to
justice the perpetrators, organizers, sponsors and inspirers of these and other
terrorist acts.
It said the leaders were determined to intensify efforts to fight
terrorism, which poses a threat to every nation as well as to world peace and
