Pakistan rejects Indian PM' allegation on Mumbai
blasts
ISLAMABAD, July 14 (Xinhua) --
Pakistan on Friday rejected the allegation of Indian Prime Minister Manmohan
Singh that Mumbai train bombers were supported by Pakistani elements.
"This is baseless, and we reject it," the website of
the local newspaper Dawn quoted Pakistani Foreign Office spokesperson Tasnim
Aslam as saying.
"In the past two days, India has not given us
anything in writing or talked of any evidence," she said.
"Pakistan does not tolerate terrorism and is in the
forefront of international efforts to fight this menace," said Aslam.
Responding to the Indian prime minister's warning
that the peace process would not move forward unless Pakistan fulfilled promises
to stop the support of anti-Indian terrorism from its soil, Aslam said that the
accusations against Pakistan were "unsubstantiated." Full story <<<
