Timor-Leste PM unveils Cabinet

    JAKARTA, July 14 (Xinhua) -- Timor Leste Prime Minister Jose Ramos-Horta on Friday unveiled his Cabinet with the ambassador to the United Nations as the new foreign minister, according to news reports from Dili.

    In the new Cabinet, Timor-Leste's ambassador to the United Nations Jose Luis Guterres is named as the new foreign minister.

    Prime Minister Ramos-Horta himself will hold the post of the defense minister.

    The post of minister of natural resources, minerals and energy policy is Jose Teixeira.

    The new prime minister also named a 15-strong team of political allies and members of the country's ruling party to shoulder the task of restoring peace to the nation. Enditem
