HANOI, July 13 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam always supports the policy of
denuclearizing the Korean Peninsula and hopes relevant parties would settle
their differences and disputes through dialogues, a foreign ministry spokesman
said on Thursday.
"Vietnam wants relevant parties to exercise extreme restraint, seek
peaceful solutions to lessen tensions, and deal with all differences and dispute
through dialogues," spokesman Le Dung said.
He made the remarks in response to questions about Vietnam's stance on
potential UN sanctions proposed by Japan against the Democratic People's
Republic of Korea (DPRK) over its recent missile tests.
Vietnam wants to see peace, stability and development in the northeast
Asian region, he said. Enditem
