BEIJING, July 7 -- Sex and the City star Kristin Davis has been voted the world's most beautiful woman.

    The brunette actress -- who played uptight Charlotte York in the hit show -- beat a host of stunning stars to take the top spot in the poll, conducted by Britain's Eve magazine.

    Raven-haired Catherine Zeta-Jones took second place while X-Men beauty Halle Berry came in third.

    Nicole Kidman and Monster star Charlize Theron rounded out the top five.

    Former Friends star Jennifer Aniston was in ninth place, just ahead of pillow-lipped beauty Angelina Jolie, who came in tenth.

    Eve editor Sara Cremer said: "Kristin's natural beauty combined with her on-screen presence make her a woman with style and substance.

    "She exudes sex appeal without compromising her intelligence and independence."

    Kristin, 41, has said she credits her mother with giving her the best beauty advice, because she taught her "how to be comfortable with your natural beauty". Enditem
