MEXICO CITY, July 5 (Xinhua) -- Left-wing presidential candidate Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador is leading the presidential election recount by almost three percentage points over his right-wing rival Felipe Calderon in the definitive recount of Sunday's vote, the country's election authorities said on Wednesday.
Of 40.05 percent of the votes counted, Lopez, the candidate for the "For the Good of All" coalition, had 35.6 percent, with a 2.59 percentage point lead over his main rival, according to the Federal Electoral Agency (IFE).
