BUCHAREST, July 4 (Xinhua) -- Romanian President Traian Basescu Tuesday issued a decree, appointing Bogdan Pascu as one of the state ministers, said a press release issued by the Romanian Presidential Office on Tuesday.
Pascu, who will be responsible for affairs related to business environment and small and medium-sized enterprises, was recommended for the post by the Conservative Party.
Romania's current coalition government is made up of four parties -- the Democratic Party, the National Liberal Party, the Conservative Party and the Hungarian Democratic Union of Romania.
While the post of the prime minister is held by Calin Popescu-Tariceanu, chairman of the National Liberal Party, the Conservative Party and the Hungarian Democratic Union of Romania each has a state minister in the cabinet.
Conservative George Copos, Pascu's predecessor, resigned on June 1. Enditem
