DPRK fires two missiles: report

    TOKYO, July 5 (Xinhua) -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) test fired two missiles early Wednesday, Japan's public broadcaster NHK reported, quoting government sources.

    A ballistic Rodong missile was fired by the DPRK at 3:32 a.m. Wednesday local time (1832 GMT, Tuesday). Its warhead dropped into the Sea of Japan six minutes after the launch, NHK said.

    The other missile was launched later, NHK said.

    CNN television also reported that the DPRK has launched two missiles which appeared not to be the intercontinental Taepodong 2 missile. Enditem
