BEIJING, July 4 -- The illustrious supporting cast of Hong Kong director Wong Kar-wai's first English-language film, "My Blueberry Nights," continues to grow.

It now includes Ed Harris and Oscar winner Kevin Spacey, who will be co-starring with Jude Law, Natalie Portman, Rachel Weisz and Norah Jones.

In the great American tradition, it's a road movie, with Jones playing a waitress who travels around America. Along the way, she has several romantic encounters and learns about love.

Although Wong has managed to secure a high-profile cast, “Blueberry” marks the screen debut of lead actress Norah Jones.

At the recent Cannes Film Festival, where Wong served as jury president, a poster for “Blueberry” was displayed in front of Cannes' Majestic Hotel with a headshot of Jones.

“Blueberry” began shooting in New York City on June 21 and will film in various other cities across the United States, including Las Vegas.

An immense amount of hype surrounds “Blueberry.” Canadian production company Christal Films acquired the Canadian rights to the picture before Wong shot a single frame.
