BEIJING, July 4 -- The illustrious supporting cast of Hong Kong director Wong Kar-wai's first English-language film, "My Blueberry Nights," continues to grow.

    It now includes Ed Harris and Oscar winner Kevin Spacey, who will be co-starring with Jude Law, Natalie Portman, Rachel Weisz and Norah Jones.

    In the great American tradition, it's a road movie, with Jones playing a waitress who travels around America. Along the way, she has several romantic encounters and learns about love.

    Although Wong has managed to secure a high-profile cast, ¡°Blueberry¡± marks the screen debut of lead actress Norah Jones.

    At the recent Cannes Film Festival, where Wong served as jury president, a poster for ¡°Blueberry¡± was displayed in front of Cannes' Majestic Hotel with a headshot of Jones.

    ¡°Blueberry¡± began shooting in New York City on June 21 and will film in various other cities across the United States, including Las Vegas.

    An immense amount of hype surrounds ¡°Blueberry.¡± Canadian production company Christal Films acquired the Canadian rights to the picture before Wong shot a single frame.
