Special report: New violence between Israel, Palestine

    GAZA, July 2 (Xinhua) -- An office building of Hamas-led security forces in Gaza City was targeted by an Israeli airstrike on early Sunday, Palestinian witnesses said.

    Several Palestinians were injured in the raid, one of them in critical condition, Palestinian medics said.

    The witnesses said that Israeli military helicopters kept hovering over the Gaza Strip and pounded the office building ofthe Auxiliary Force recently formed by the Palestinian Interior Ministry headed by senior Hamas leader Saeed Siam.

    Elsewhere in Gaza City, another Israeli missile hit the office of Mohamed Shihab, a Hamas leader and member of the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC).

    No casualties were reported.

    Moments ago, the office of Palestinian Prime Minister and senior Hamas leader Ismail Haneya was hit by one Israeli missile.The office building was set on fire and one Palestinian bystander was slight wounded. Enditem
