 A train coded "Qing 1" from Golmud, Qinghai Province, to
Lhasa, capital of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, runs through
a 1,686-meter-long tunnel in Kunlun Mountain July 1, 2006. The tunnel is
the longest tunnel through frozen soil in the world. The Qinghai-Tibet railway
