BANJUL, July 1 (Xinhua) -- The Seventh Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the African Union (AU) opens here on Saturday with a host of issues including the rationalization of regional economic communities (RECs) and regional integration.

    The two-day's summit attended by 33 heads of state and government are expected to consider a draft decision submitted by the Ninth Ordinary session of the Executive Council of the 53-member AU closed here on Friday. Enditem
