"This is a very satisfying win but we don't want to stop here, we haven't reached our objective yet. I said before the match if we beat Ukraine then anything is possible," Lippi said.

    "I'm very disappointed, I don't think the scoreline is a fair reflection of the match.

    "Italy's opening goal meant we were forced to attack and, even though we came up against a very good defence, we still managed to create several chances to equalise when we were losing 1-0.
