    BEIJING, June 29 (Xinhua) -- The Communist Party of China (CPC) will hold a grand rally on Friday morning in Beijing to celebrate the 85th anniversary of its founding.

    The party will also summarize its educational campaign on maintaining the vanguard character of CPC members, launched in January of 2005, at the rally.

    China National Radio, China Central Television, China Radio International will carry out live broadcast of the rally, which will begin at 9:00 a.m.

    Two major news websites, xinhuanet.com and people.com.cn, will also carry out real-time webcast of the event. Enditem
