(Xinhua) -- Aruna Dindane, who scored twice in Cote d'Ivoire's 3-2 victory over
Serbia and Montenegro, was voted the Man of the Match by members of the FIFA
Technical Study Group (TSG) here on Wednesday.
"Dindane scored two goals playing highly aggressive
and offensive football," said Rodrigo Kenton of FIFA's Technical Study Group
(TSG). "He was incredibly powerful, always drove the play forward and only ever
had one aim in his mind: to score."
Dindane, 26, who plays with French side Lens, should
have scored the World Cup's first hat-trick but the unselfish player gave the
chance to teammate Bonaventure Kalou, who fired home a penalty kick in the 86th
minute.
"I think my friends also want to score," he said. "We
are a team. We have a lot of fun together. A team is always more important than
individual." Enditem
