，Factional clashes renew in Gaza despite mediation efforts

    GAZA, Jan. 28 (Xinhua) -- Armed clashes between Fatah movement led by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and the ruling Hamas movement recurred in the Gaza Strip on Sunday night, in spite of the ongoing mediation efforts by Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

，Fatah accepts Egyptian initiative to end fighting with Hamas

    GAZA, Jan. 28 (Xinhua) -- A leader of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) said on Sunday evening that Fatah movement led by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has accepted an Egyptian initiative with the aim of ending infighting with the ruling Hamas movement.
