BEIJING, June 19 -- Curtain of news battle has been raised up although the whistle of Qinghai-Tibet Railway is waiting for blowing.

    Over 100 reporters of 20 medias from home and abroad have applied for covering this plateau railway since early June. Now, 15 journalists from Xinhua News Agency and Shanghai Oriental TV are bustling on experiencing the Qinghai-Tibet Railway.

    A report group jointly organized by CCTV, Taiwan ETTV News, HongKong ATV and another 3 medias has gone to the railway for covering.

    Another 30-people group organized by Shanghai Wenhui Newspaper, Shanghai Media Group, Suzhou TV etc has started report along the railway line.

    "We have met over 200 reporters in few days," an official of Golmud Publicizing Department said, "The busy phones from Beijing, Hongkong and other places make us hurry-scurry."
