BEIJING, June 19 (Xinhuanet) -- "When
I get older losing my hair many years from now, will you still be sending me a
valentine birthday greeting, bottle of wine?"
This is what British Paul McCartney wrote in the song
"When I'm Sixty-Four" which provides a beautiful description of enduring love
and pretty upbeat prediction on what elderly life may hold.
Last Sunday was McCartney's 64th birthday, and he
tasted what it was like as a sixty-four-year-old man.
The ex-Beatle was said to find his life in turmoil
and be "still very hurt" by the "dirty hate campaign" being waged in parts of
the British media against his ex-wife Heather Mills.
Anyway, life will go on. He spent his 64th birthday
quietly with two daughters - fashion designer Stella, 33, and photographer Mary
36 at a quiet barbeque in his home in Sussex, England.
McCartney may be in low spirits, but that does not
shrink the adoration of millions of fans around the world. The Beatles Story
Exhibition in McCartney's hometown of Liverpool was celebrating with cake,
balloons and a weekend of events including a "When I'm Sixty-Four" karaoke
contest. Enditem
