BEIJING, June 18 (Xinhua) -- "Our Iceberg is melting", a popular book written by American writers John Kotter and Holger Rathgeber, will be published in Chinese this August.

After the China debut, over ten translations including French, German, English and Italian will hit book stores worldwide on September 5.

Although both are fables about the penguin's life, unlike the best seller "March of the Penguins", "Our Iceberg is melting" is about how penguins deal with an environmental disaster.

Kotter and Rathgeber hope that the story would teach people to better cope with challenges from transitions of work and family life.

"It's a typical story of American dream, however, as market competition is fierce in China, the book will be widely received by Chinese readers who are experiencing a transitional period of hardships," said Wang Pengsheng, president of the Anhui People's Publishing House, the book's authorized publisher.

By the end of May, 15,000 copies of the book's manual script have been sold out on the international market. Enditem
