AMMAN, June 13 (Xinhua) -- The Jordanian government on Tuesday strongly
condemned Israeli military operations against innocent and unarmed civilians in
the Gaza Strip.
Government spokesperson Nasser Judah said "the government is making
contacts with the Israeli government, calling on it to stop these actions
immediately for its incompatibility with the desire of the international
community to bring concerned parties to the negotiating table and push them to
implement the roadmap."
"Such Israeli practices poison the atmosphere and make things more
difficult in the quest to move toward the restoration of the peace process," the
spokesperson said.
On Tuesday noon, the Israeli Air Force carried out two air raids in
succession, killing three Palestinian militants and eight civilians, including
two children from one family. Enditem
