BRUSSELS, June 7 (Xinhua) -- Thirteen people, who were suspected of downloading child pornography, have been taken into police custody, VRT news reported on Wednesday.

    The thirteen suspects were detained in connection to an international child pornography investigation, it said.

    More than 30 houses were searched in Brussels as Belgian authorities acted on information from an American investigation.

    Various suspects are thought to have used their credit cards to pay to download child pornography from an American company.

    The latest development forms part of a larger investigation in the United States into an international child pornography network. Enditem
