WASHINGTON, June 6 (Xinhua) -- U.S. President George W. Bush will attend a summit of the Group of Eight (G8) leading industrialized countries in Russia in mid-July, the White House announced on Tuesday.
During their July 15-17 meeting in St. Petersburg, Bush and other leaders "will discuss continued cooperation on a broad range of international economic, security, and political issues," White House spokesman Tony Snow said in a statement.
The G8 consists of Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia and the United States. Enditem
