BEIJING, June 6 -- Ed Harris has signed on and Kevin Spacey is in talks for Wong Kar-wai's first English-language film, "My Blueberry Nights," says the Hollywood Reporter.

Wong will begin filming soon with Norah Jones, Jude Law, Natalie Portman and Rachel Weisz, according to the report.

The film follows a young woman journeying across the United States in an attempt to resolve her questions about the meaning of love. Along the way she encounters some quirky characters.

The director promises that he will not let Hollywood go to his head.

"Even if it is in the United States and within the Hollywood system, I will be myself," said Wong, who is scheduled to film "The Lady From Shanghai" with Nicole Kidman next year.

"I am disappointed because the filming of the movie is going to prevent me from watching the World Cup with my son," said Wong.

Jones, the 26-year-old daughter of internationally famous Indian musician Ravi Shankar, will be making her acting debut in "My Blueberry Nights." Before this, she has only appeared as herself in "Two Weeks Notice." She took home eight Grammys for her first album, "Come Away With Me" in 2003. In 2004, she topped the charts again with her second release, "Feels Like Home."
