    BEIJING, June 4 (Xinhua) -- Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines Noli de Castro arrived here on Sunday morning, kicking off a six-day official visit to China.

    The Philippine vice president was invited by Chinese Vice President Zeng Qinghong. During his stay in Beijing, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao will meet de Castro and Zeng will hold talks with him.

    Besides Beijing, de Castro will also visit Nanjing, capital of east China's Jiangsu Province and Shanghai, China's economic hub. Enditem
