Iraqi police find 22 bodies in Baghdad

    BAGHDAD, June 3 (Xinhua) -- Iraqi police found 22 bodies indifferent parts in Baghdad on Saturday, an Interior Ministrysource said.

    He said the bodies were killed in execution-style showing signsof torture and with bullet holes in their heads and chests, thesource said.

  Meanwhile, the source quoted police reports from Baquba, some65 km north of Baghdad, as saying that the local police foundeight human heads of seven cousins and a cleric near the town.The grisly discovery is part of the reprisal sectarian violencewhich swept the country between Shiite and Sunni communitiesfollowing the bombing of one of the most revered Shiite shrines inSamarra in February.
