Dollar trades at upper 112 yen in Tokyo

    TOKYO, June 2 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar moved around the upper 112 yen level Friday in Tokyo.

    At 5 p.m., the dollar fetched 112.81-84 yen, compared with Thursday's 5 p.m. quotes of 112.65-75 yen in New York and 112.77-80 yen in Tokyo.

    It moved between 112.44 yen and 112.94 yen during the day, trading most heavily at 112.55 yen.

    The euro changed hands at 1.2805-2808 dollars and 144.48-52 yen,against Thursday's 5 p.m. quotes of 1.2798-2808 dollars and 144.25-35 yen in New York and 1.2773-2776 dollars and 144.07-11 yen in Tokyo. Enditem
