Davydenko eases into French Open 3rd round

    PARIS, May 31 (Xinhua) -- Russia's sixth seed Nikolay Davydenko became the first man to reach the third round of the French Open on Wednesday after Brazilian Flavio Saretta retired when trailing 6-2, 4-1 in their match.

    Davydenko will next face either former French Open champion Carlos Moya or his compatriot Mikhail Youzhny for a place in the fourth round. Enditem
