US commits over 170 aerial espionage in May: DPRK

    PYONGYANG, May 31 (Xinhua) -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Wednesday condemned the United States for committing more than 170 cases of aerial espionage against it in May.

    The DPRK said the United States has used reconnaissance planes of different types in carrying out the espionage activities.

    The U-2s planes of the country had made daily shuttle flights in the sky over the DPRK's strategic targets through April, the official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) quoted a military source as saying.

    "Their E-3, EP-3 and other types of tactical reconnaissance planes also committed many cases of espionage against DPRK in April," said the KCNA.

    According to the DPRK, the United States committed more than 160 aerial espionage against it in April. Enditem
