WASHINGTON, May 30 (Xinhua) -- Xing Huina of China, the 2004 Olympic gold medalist at 10,000 meters, will compete at the Reebok Grand Prix on June 3, according to organizers.

In addition to Xing, among the Chinese athletes expected to compete are Liu Qing, the women's 2005 National Games Champion at both 800m and 1,500m; Jin Yuan, winner of the 2006 Mt. SAC Relays 5,000m; and, in the women's pole vault, two-time Olympian Gao Shuying, the Asian record-holder.

Leading the 150 athletes from 19 countries set to compete is Olympic gold medalist and world champion Justin Gatlin, who last month equaled the 100m world record (9.77). He will be joined by 2004 Olympic gold medalist Veronica Campbell of Jamaica.

In what promises to be one of the best match-ups of the day, featuring the two fastest men in the world this year, rising youngstars Wallace Spearmon of the USA and Usain Bolt of Jamaica will face each other at 200 meters. Enditem
