BEIJING, May 30 -- A 103-year-old grandmother surnamed Xie eats zongzi, or glutinous rice dumpling, at the Yantian Social Welfare Center in Shenzhen City yesterday as a soldier from the frontier inspection force in the district looks on. Soldiers took food including zongzi, milk, oranges and apples to the elderly people at the social welfare center yesterday, two days before the traditional Dragon Boat Festival, which falls tomorrow.
