    BEIJING, May 30 (Xinhua) -- China calls for Hamas to take into consideration the fundamental interests of the Palestinian people, and to renounce violence, recognize Israel.

China urges Afghanistan to ensure safety for Chinese citizens

    BEIJING, May 30 (Xinhua) -- China has requested relevant departments of Afghanistan to ensure safety for the Chinese embassy and citizens there amid a recent riot, said Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao in Beijing Tuesday. 

China to provide disaster relief materials to Indonesia

    BEIJING, May 30 (Xinhua) -- Foreign Minister of the Republic of Ghana Nana Dankwa Akufo-Addo will pay an official visit to China from June 5 to 8, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman announced in Beijing on Tuesday.
