    Sepcial Report: Tension accelerates in Iraq

    BAGHDAD, May 29 (Xinhua) -- Seven people were killed and nine others wounded when a bomb ripped through a minibus in northern Baghdad on Monday, an interior Ministry source told Xinhua.

    A bomb planted in a KIA minibus exploded in the busy Bab al-Drwaza area of Kazmiya district, killing seven people and wounded nine," the source said on condition of anonymity.

    Violence has persisted despite the formation of a new unity government in the war-torn country. Enditem
