    BEIJING, May 27 (Xinhua) -- A world-known Russian troupe presents a performance of Russian folk dance for Chinese audience here on Saturday night.

    As an important part of the "Year of Russia" in China activities, the performance also drew Chinese Vice Premier Wu Yi and State Councilor Chen Zhili.

    More than 50 actors and actresses of the troupe, named "Little Birch", gave a dozen of song and dance programs, starting with a slow and relaxing poussette and ending with some famous songs very familiar to Chinese audience.

    The one-and-a-half hour performance received warm applause from the Chinese audience. Enditem
