Palestinian injured by Israeli fire
www.chinaview.cn 2006-05-28 19:38:34

RAMALLAH, May 28 (Xinhua) -- A 21-year-old Palestinian was injured by Israeli fire during an Israeli incursion into Qussien town north of the West Bank city of Tulkarm, medical sources said.

An Israeli elite unit fired at and injured Khaled Katana before withdrawal at dawn.

Meanwhile, a group of Palestinians held a funeral for a nine-year-old boy in the southern West Bank city of Hebron, who died of severe wounds sustained when a bomb, left by Israeli troops, detonated.

The boy's father blamed the Israeli army and held it responsible for the killing.

Israeli troops carry out daily incursion and search in the occupied West Bank and arrest Palestinian militants wanted for alleged involvement in anti-Israel attacks.

There was no confirmation over the injury and death from the Israeli army. Enditem
