WASHINGTON, May 27 (Xinhua)-- Dwyane Wade and
Shaquille O'Neal combined 62 points Saturday night as the Miami Heat blew past
the Detroit Pistons 98-83 at American Airlines Arena, to take the lead after
three games of the Eastern Conference finals.
Wade poured in 35 points and pulled down eight
rebounds while O'Neal added 27 points and grabbed 12 boards. Antoine Walker
ended with 11 points, as the Heat shot 58.2 percent from the field and held on
after nearly blowing a 12-point lead at the end of the third quarter.
Wade shot 13-of-17 from the field and missed just two
of his 11 foul shots. O'Neal made 11-of-15 from the floor, as the Heat moved a
step closer to exacting revenge for losing to Detroit in last year's East
finals.
Chauncey Billups hit for 31 points and Richard
Hamilton added 20 for the Pistons, who struggled by shooting 42.2 percent.
Rasheed Wallace ended with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
