    WASHINGTON, May 25 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. economy increased at an annual rate of 5.3 percent in the first quarter of 2006, the fastest pace in two and a half years and stronger than the 4.8 percent rise initially estimated, the Commerce Department reported Thursday. Enditem
