Fatah militants launch rockets at southern Israel

    GAZA, May 25 (Xinhua) -- The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, armed wing of the Fatah movement, fired two homemade rockets into southern Israel Thursday morning.

    The brigades said in a statement that the shelling came in response to an Israeli killing of four Palestinians in the West Bank city of Ramallah one day earlier.

    The group vowed to continue firing rockets into Israel "until the Israeli occupation ends."

    The Israeli Ha'aretz daily reported that the Israeli army directed heavy artillery fire at the rocket launch areas in northern Gaza Strip Thursday morning. Enditem
