Zi and Zheng Jie has won the women's doubles final of the Qatar Telecom German

German Open, the reigning Australian Open champions ousted the Russian-Italian
doubles team Elena Dementieva and Flavia Pennetta, seeded fifth here in Berlin,
with 6:2 and 6:3.
But the defeated duo described this appearance in the
final as their second most important success in their doubles career after
reaching the final in 2005 at the US-Open. Yan Zi and Zheng Jie have pocketed
US$59,000 for their first triumph in a Tier I tournament.
