ADDIS ABABA, May 15 (Xinhua) -- Road authority in the Ethiopiancapital of Addis Ababa on Monday signed an agreement with China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) for the construction of a road here.

    Under the agreement, a 5.8-km road will be constructed in a modern way by CRBC, one of China's largest construction companies.

    Besides the road, which is going to be 40 meters in width, CRBCwill also construct two bridges in the capital.

    The construction of the road will cost over 146 million birr (16.8 million U.S. dollars), of which 55 million birr (6.33 milliondollars) will be covered by the Chinese government. Enditem
