BEIJING, May 15 (Xinhua) -- The official website of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit, scheduled for mid-June, is now in use.

    Operated in Chinese, Russian and English, the website (http://english.scosummit2006.org/) will cover events, speeches and documents from the upcoming SCO summit.

    The website is produced by Xinhuanet under the Xinhua News Agency.

    Dubbed a new model for regional cooperation, the SCO was founded in Shanghai on June 15, 2001, aiming to promote regional security and fight terrorism.
