Fourth seed Li Na pulls out of Rabat Open

    RABAT, May 13 (Xinhua) -- Chinese star player Li Na, who reached her first ever Tier I tournament semi-final in Berlin this week, has pulled out of next week's WTA Rabat Open with an injury,the organizers announced Saturday.

    The world number 61, who was due to be seeded fourth in Morocco,will be replaced in the seeds by compatriot Yan Zi, No. 9, for the 145,000 dollars clay court event.

    Li has been suffering with her condition in recent weeks and a week ago retired from the final of the Estoril Open with cramps when level at a set-all with countrywoman Zheng Jie.

    She had been in good form in Berlin until Saturday when she was thrashed 6-1, 6-0 by Russia's Nadia Petrova.

    No reason was given for her withdrawal. Enditem
