BEIJING, May 12 (Xinhua) -- China has imposed anti-dumping duties on nucleotide-type food additives imported from Japan and the Republic of Korea.
The move came after the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) decided the import of the products constituted dumping and damaged Chinese relevant industries.
The duties ranging from 25 to 119 percent will last five years and cover Disodium 5-Inosinate, Disodium 5-Guanylate and Disodium 5-Ribonucleotide, said an MOC circular released here on Friday.
The Ministry has required importers to pay the duties to customs offices.
Nucleotide-type food additives are mainly used to improve the flavor of dressings such as soy sauce and monosodium glutamate. Enditem
