"Love in a Fallen City" applauded in US tour

    BEIJING, May 12 -- The Hong Kong stage drama "Love in A Fallen City" has finished its two-week North American tour, receiving wide acclaim in Toronto and New York.     

    Lead actor Leung Kar Fei arrives in Beijing this weekend, with mainland performances just around the corner. Ticket sales have been brisk, with the drama¡¯s organizer deciding to add another performance on May 20th.     

    The cast plans to talk about the play with fans this weekend in Beijing.     

    Renowned Chinese dramatic actor Pu Cunxin and Chen Jianbing have been cordially invited to the Beijing debut.     

    Based on Eileen Cheung's novel, "Love in A Fallen City" will be staged from May 17th to May 21st at the Capital Theater.
