Li Na, Zheng Jie sail to last 16 in Berlin

    BEIJING, May 11 -- China's Li Na and Zheng Jie have sailed through the second round of the 1.34 million-dollar WTA German Open to enter the last 16.

    Li Na, who reached the second round after her opponent retired Tuesday, had an easy win on Wednesday.

    It took her only 65 minutes to wind up the match, beating Italian Nathalie Vierin 6-1, 6-2.

    Compatriot Zheng Jie dispatched Luxembourg's Anne Kremer, 7-6(4), 6-3 to reach the third round.

    Other top world guns have also sailed into the third round of the last 16.
