MACAO, May 10 (Xinhua) -- An adventure race titled Action Asia Challenge Macao 2006 is to be held here on June 11, the organizers said here on Wednesday.
Michael Maddess, head of the organizing committee, told a press conference that over 200 foreign athletes have signed up for the event, which covers challenging disciplines as mountain biking, trail running, ocean swimming and rock scrambling.
The event was successfully held here in 2005, leading to the consecutive hosting in Macao, Maddess said.
The Challenge event was initiated in Hong Kong in 1998. Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia and Macao have since been the hosts. Enditem
