NANNING, May 8 (Xinhua) -- An ocean liner course between Chinaand Vietnam was a popular route for Chinese tourists during the just concluded Golden Week holiday.

    The course starts from the scenic city of Beihai in southChina's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and ends at Vinh Ha Long,a beautiful scenic spot of Vietnam.

    The route was approved in 1997 by China's authorities in chargeof tourism, public security, foreign affairs and customs. Theliner now in operation is a luxury ship built in Spain which cancarry 528 passengers.
